Looking forward to our time in Alberta coming up in April! We aren't too far away now!!
Wondering if we will have any time in the agenda to do some math learning. Would love to "do" some math and maybe we could co-lead some fun math activities?
In the meantime, I wanted to share something cool that I had seen in the past, but never understood until just recently... It's called "Japanese" multiplication or "line multiplication.
Here's what it looks like:
Some consider it a shortcut or a trick for multiplying. However, there's a pretty cool reason why it works. I've tried to describe it on my blog below, if you're interested in checking it out!
