Tecumseh Vista goes "Full e-STEAM Ahead"

Hi Friends,

Happy end of the school year to you all!

Just wanted to share some news from TVA from this News Release:

Full e-STEAM Ahead

- Tecumseh Vista Academy to unveil unique learning opportunity -

Starting in September, 2017 Tecumseh Vista Academy will offer all its high school students the chance to participate in e-STEAM, the first program of its kind in an Ontario secondary school.

Following the model developed at universities and colleges in the province, TVA is setting up a program for entrepreneurship in science, technology, engineering, arts and math. e-STEAM will prepare students for challenges that will be faced by an increasingly knowledge and technology-driven, globalized society.

Staff and students will be joined at the school by a number of the participating community partners, including Workforce Windsor-Essex, WE Tech Alliance and the Odette School of Business to discuss details of the e-STEAM program on Thursday, June 22nd at 10:30 a.m.

For more information contact Principal Bill Toews @ 519-739-2189.

Bill, Matt Biggley (Guidance Teacher) and Derek Tomkins (Student Success) have been working hard to create this opportunity for students and it is now becoming a reality.

Great job, guys!
