A while ago, we posted our Timbit Measure task. This was our first attempt at creating a STEAM task for our transitional Math students. After much discussion here at Pereyma, we eventually decided to make this task a collaboration between the students enrolled in our Grade 7 and Grade 9 Math classes. All of the students enjoyed using the task to explore mathematical concepts of ratios, proportions and unit rates. Together students collected data relating to timbits (we realize that our Norwegian co-learners can't easily get hold of timbits!) and we have pulled this data together for you in the form of a multi-touch book that can be found here. In this book, we have also included some of our students' learning artefacts. If anyone else decides to give this task a try, we would be pleased to add your learning artefacts to the book as well!

Unfortunately I am having some problems opening the multi-touch book, guess it is some kind of a technical difficulty somewhere. Hope to get to see the artefact soon!
